This policy is a starter template inspired by general privacy principles and Algeria Law 18-07 on personal data protection. It should be legally reviewed before official launch.
A. Introduction
Tijartek respects user privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, why it is used, how it is protected, how long it may be kept, and how users can contact Tijartek about privacy requests.
B. Data we collect
Account data: name, email, phone, username, password hash, language, login information and security logs.
Business data: store or company name, address, NIF, NIS, RC, AI, tax settings and workspace settings.
Operational data: products, stock, warehouses, sales, purchases, returns, invoices, customers, suppliers, staff, salaries if used, reports and related ERP records.
Payment/subscription data: subscription status, payment references, payment history and billing records. Tijartek should not store full card numbers unless a compliant payment provider handles them.
Uploaded files and technical data: logos, product images, purchase receipts, OCR files, documents, IP address, browser/device information, cookies/session data, logs, messages, requests, complaints and feedback.
C. How data is used
Data is used to create and manage accounts/workspaces, provide ERP features, process subscriptions and payments, generate documents and reports, provide support, improve security and performance, backup and restore data, prevent fraud or abuse, and send important service notices.
D. Legal and compliance note
Tijartek aims to respect applicable Algerian personal data protection requirements, including principles from Law 18-07. Users may have rights such as being informed, accessing their data, requesting correction, and requesting deletion where applicable, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
F. Payment data
Card payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Tijartek should not store full card numbers or sensitive card data. Only transaction references and statuses needed for subscription management may be stored.
G. Cookies and sessions
Tijartek uses cookies and session data for login, security, preferences, language selection and possibly analytics. Essential cookies are required for the platform to work correctly.
H. Data security
Tijartek uses reasonable technical and organizational measures such as HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, backups, monitoring/logs and limited admin access. No system is 100% secure, and users must also protect their own devices and passwords.
I. Data retention
Account data is kept while the account or subscription is active. After cancellation, data may be retained for about 30–90 days before deletion or anonymization where possible, subject to backup cycles and legal, accounting, security or recovery reasons. Backups are retained according to the backup cycle.
J. User responsibilities
Users must protect passwords, avoid sharing accounts, ensure customer and employee data entered into the platform is collected legally, and verify business/tax information before using it in official documents.
K. User rights
Users may request access to personal data, correction, deletion where applicable, objection or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Requests can be sent to Tijartek using the contact information below and are subject to legal and contractual obligations.
L. International or third-party hosting
Depending on the hosting configuration, data may be processed or stored on servers outside Algeria. Tijartek aims to use appropriate providers and reasonable protection measures.
M. Children
The platform is designed for businesses and professional users, not children.
N. Changes to this policy
Tijartek may update this Privacy Policy and notify users of important changes through the platform, email, or a visible notice.
